with easter fast approaching i figured, in the spirit of spring, that it is about time i update this damn thing. not only update, no, since it has been sOo long since anyone has last heard from me i have decided to give the gift of apology in the form of an embarasing, clearly photoshop-able-to-use-as-blackmail, photograph. this photograph, thoughtfully taken by my beloved, conveys my hope of a new spring, a spring in which blogs will have posts galore, for i have no lack of photographs to post nor do i have shortage of amazing things that happen to me. after all, i am blessed with family and friends whom i love and whom love me. this spring will be a renwal, it will be rose tinted with the sheer happiness of life and living it. i am twenty two years old, certainly charming enough, dashingly handsome, unbelievably witty, unfortunatly i am nOT single so ladies please refrain from advances lest you feel the invincable wrath of my inhumanly stong and sadistic girlfriend. point be said, no matter what i am doing, what is stressing me out today, i have the ability to see the larger picture, to see that i am on my way and the i will not just anticipate the destination but savor the journey as well. if situations are less than favorable then i am a starving artist, flourishing in the beautiful melencholy of it all. if good things come my way, i am the man blessed with good fortune, yes, but also the man who deserves such blessings. and i do, i am worth it and whatever life throws at me, good or bad, i know i have what it take to make the most of it. i will never be broken, life cannot bring me down, only i can, and i will not. so this will be the spring of photographs and tales that make you grin or wince or laugh out loud. this will be the spring to begin all springs, for this is the spring of realization, of self worth, of thankfulness.

*if i were judy, and i am not, i would say i love you to myself and tell myself that i will always be there for me and to keep my chin up, but how silly of me since i am clearly mervin.
